"Bikers"(8"x16")

I took this picture on a recent trip to the Dominican Republic. It seems like everyone is riding bikes or motorcycles there. And it is unbelievable how many people can fit onto one small bike (3 or 4 is pretty common). Beautiful country with the friendliest people I've ever met anywhere.

Pick a vegetable and paint it from life. Direct painting. That was this week challenge from DPW.
Just finished painting and now I will make my favorite soup, polish borsch, yum.

The DPW Painting Challenge last week was "All about Me". So there it is my self portrait and like Carol said, it was frickin' hard.
