When I first started painting it, my walnut looked more like a brain. But now, I'm proud of myself that I finished it within one day. I just realized that I should practice more with smaller projects like this one. It takes less time and there are not as many things I can mess up...instant gratification.

Violetta, your walnut definitely looks like a walnut! I love the warm yellow/greens you used in the background. I agree that it is gratifying to start and finish in one sitting!
ReplyDeleteTerrific shadows and I like the warm brown against that beautiful green background. Definitely a Walnut, but you have me thinking about how much they do look like brains with the divided hemispheres. Very interesting observation!
